Akemi Revolving Restaurant (21st Floor, Golden Jubilee Towers, Ohio Street, Dar Es Salaam) – this is the capital’s only revolving restaurant. Located in Dar Es Salaam’s tallest building, it offers the most breathtaking views of the city with the most elegant ambiance. Open every day from 10am, Akemi’s classy bar offers a great selection of cocktails and an extensive wine menu with an unbeatable view and delicious bar snacks. Monday to Friday there’s a Happy Hour with drinks promotions from 4pm – 7pm.
For those who want to eat from 12-3pm Monday to Saturday there’s a buffet lunch with a wide selection of soup, salads, mains and desserts all for only 35,000 TSH (US$15), or choose from their lunch menu with a selection of items all for under 20,000 Tsh (US$9).
